2.59. 即使对于克制感官对象者,对象虽止,其味未绝。然对此定慧之士,亲证至上真理时,纵此味亦灭。 释论:"感官对象虽离身中禁欲者,其味(对境之贪)未去。"人之禁欲有二途:(一)自愿断食或因病被迫断食;(二)舍离一切感官对象,独处静坐,即收摄感官离其外境。此处"禁欲者"特指收摄感官离外境的修行者。 病者心中常存此念:"我能如何?身乏气力,无法受用外物,此乃无可奈何。待我康复,体力恢复,必将尽情享用外物。"故其内在味觉(执著)犹存。同理,当感官离其外境时,外境虽止,然修行者内在的味觉——即对外境乐受的感知——不易息灭。 对那些本无外境贪著、具足猛利离欲的修行者,此味觉在修行阶段即已止息。然此说特为那些精勤修行却未具足猛利离欲者而示:纵已舍离外境,其内在味觉仍未止息。 "然彼见至上者,纵此味亦灭。"对此定慧之士,亲证神性时味觉即灭。非因味觉止息即成定慧之士,然成为定慧之士时,味觉必不复存。 "纵此味"之语暗示:味觉存于修行者的我执,存于其"我"之意识。此味觉即显现为粗重的执著相。故修行者当从我执中拔除此味,思惟:"我本无欲,执著贪求非我本性。"如是培养无欲心性,或发愿成为无欲者,则味觉不留;及至亲证至上真理,此味即彻底根除。
