词义:यततः - 努力的,हि - 确实,अपि - 即使,कौन्तेय - 噢,贡蒂之子,पुरुषस्य - 人的,विपश्चितः - 智者,इन्द्रियाणि - 感官,प्रमाथीनि - 动荡的,हरन्ति - 夺走,प्रसभम् - 强行地,मनः - 心。解释:修行者首先应该控制自己的感官。感官就像马匹。如果你能完美地控制马匹,你就能安全到达目的地。动荡的马匹会让你中途摔倒。同样,动荡的感官会将你拖入感官对象中,使你无法到达你的精神目的地,即帕拉姆·达马(Param Dhama),那是永恒和平与不朽的居所,或是莫克沙(Moksha,最终解脱)。

2.60:贡蒂之子啊,躁动的感官甚至能强行掳走勤修智者的心念。 释论: 所谓“勤修智者”,指自身精进修行、实践灵性戒律、以明辨力履行一切行动、舍离执着与果报欲望、常怀“愿众生得利乐、获福祉”之悲心并依此而行者;亦是自知职责与非职责、本质与非本质,且明了何种行动将生何种结果之人。即便是如此勤勉博学之士,其心念仍会被躁动的感官强行掳走——感官将心念牵向感官对象,即令其被外境吸引、扰动。究其根源,只要理智尚未全然安住于至上本体,只要世间实相之残影仍存于理智中,只要感官与对象接触时仍生快感,只要过往享乐之印记尚未消尽,那么即便是精进、聪慧、明辨之人,其感官亦未完全受控。当感官对象现前时,因过往享乐习气所染,感官便会强行将心念与理智拖向外境。历史上亦有诸多圣贤面对外境现前时心生波澜的例证。是故,修行者切不可妄言“我感官已调伏”,亦不可生起“我已降伏感官”之骄慢。 关联:前偈已阐明因“味著”(执着)未除,纵是勤修智者亦难免被感官扰动心念,致其理智无法安住于神。故后续经文将开示断除此“味著”之法门。
